We want every guest to have an enjoyable dining experience every time they come to SONIC.br /br /Essential Job Dutiesbr /Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew members, carhops and skating carhopsbr /Directs and assigns Drive-In employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standardsbr /Adheres to and monitors employee compliance of the Drive-In employee handbook, policies and practicesbr /Performs opening and/or closing dutiesbr /Monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost controlbr /Completes weekly inventory as neededbr /Assists in administrative duties including maintaining files, records and all required documentationbr /Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times.br /Immediately and respectfully responds to guest requests. Itapos;s downright sensational!!br /br /Additional Requirements:br /Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidaysbr /Hours worked are expected, but not guaranteed to be between 30 to 50 hours per weekbr /General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations requiredbr /Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required. Experience running shifts without supervisionbr /Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skillsbr /Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; ability to multi-task and successfully solve problemsbr /Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONICbr / br /POSITION:NIGHT SHIFT Managerbr /IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:GENERAL MANAGER, Assistance Managerbr /STATUS:HOURLY, NON-EXEMPT, Hired in as Full Time Employeebr /br /Manages and leads all aspects of the evening business; responsible for: training, coaching and development of crew; for providing quality food in a clean, safe and positive environment; and for delivering Operations Consistency and a great Guest Experience at all times.br /br /As a SONIC Night Shift Leader, you will be responsible for supervising operations and enhancing dinner and late-night Drive-In business. The required schedule is a 40-50 hour work week, 5 nights per week, 8-10 hours per shift. The Night Shift Leader will lead, coach, train and develop employees to ensure we provide quality food in a clean, safe and positive work environment so all Guests receive an enjoyable experience at SONIC!br /br /Essential Job Dutiesbr /Leads evening business Drive-In execution, driving increased Sales and Customer Measuresbr /Leads, coaches, trains and develops Crew Members, Carhops and Associate Shift Leadersbr /Manages Drive-In operations for dinner and late night business, performs closing dutiesbr /Directs and assigns Drive-In employees to ensure all aspects of Service standards are deliveredbr /Knowledgeable to write PM schedule if needed and proactively manages labor, based on sales and projectionsbr /Enforces Food Safety Audit Checklist compliance and maintains Food Cost Control during evening businessbr /Monitors and maintains Inventory levels.
